Privacy Policy

Effective as of 2026-04-28

This policy applies to the VigiaFlux application developed by UrutauLabs Soluções Digitais LTDA and explains how data is collected and processed for condominium operations. The canonical public URL referenced by the app is https://urutaulabs.com/pt/vigiaflux/privacidade (Portuguese); this English page is provided for convenience.

1. Data we collect

  • Account and contact data (name, business email, and property identification).
  • Water, gas, and electricity readings by unit, block, and period.
  • Photographs captured with the device camera when you voluntarily take them (for example, to photograph the meter display when registering or verifying a reading).
  • Meter metadata, maintenance context, and operational alert history.
  • Security logs and system access records.

2. Camera and photos

VigiaFlux may request camera permission only in flows where you choose features that require image capture, especially to photograph utility meters (display or visible identification) and attach the image to a reading or operational record.

  • Purpose: record, verify, or document consumption readings and the apparent condition of equipment, within authorized condominium operations.
  • What we do not do: we do not use the camera for ads, sale of personal data, biometric identification of individuals, continuous surveillance, or live video streaming—only still photos you explicitly capture.
  • Processing: images may be transmitted securely to platform servers for reading/validation, measurement history, operational evidence, and auditing according to your role and permissions.
  • Retention: photos follow the same retention approach as other meter and operations data: kept as long as necessary for the contract, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and technical audit, then deleted or anonymized unless a longer legal hold applies.
  • Your control: you can deny camera access in device settings; when the app offers alternatives (such as manual entry), you may continue without the camera.

3. Why we process data

Data is processed to build consumption analytics, detect anomalies, estimate leakage risk, monitor meter integrity, and generate decision-support reports. Meter photographs, when used, support only those operational and reading-record purposes—not unrelated commercial profiling.

4. Sharing

Data may be shared with authorized condominium operators and infrastructure partners strictly required to deliver platform services.

5. Retention and security

Data (including meter images where applicable) is retained for contractual execution, legal compliance, and technical audit periods, with role-based access controls and safeguards appropriate to the information involved.

6. Data subject rights

Data subjects may request access, correction, and review of personal data when applicable by contacting contact@urutaulabs.com.

7. Contact

8. Account and data deletion

You can request account and related data deletion via urutaulabs.com/vigiaflux/excluir or by email at contact@urutaulabs.com.
