These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Portaria Digital — Package Management application ("App"), developed and operated by UrutauLabs Soluções Digitais LTDA ("Urutau Labs"), CNPJ 66.251.506/0001-81, headquartered in Sorocaba, SP, Brazil.

By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, please uninstall the App and discontinue its use.

1. Purpose

Portaria Digital is a mobile application designed for doormen and front-desk staff at residential and commercial buildings to manage the receipt, storage, and delivery of packages. The App uses image recognition (OCR) to capture label data, log timestamps, identify the responsible staff member and the recipient, and maintain a reliable digital history of all package movements.

2. Free app & business model

The App is available free of charge to download. There are no in-app purchases, auto-renewable subscriptions charged through the App, or paywalled content unlockable within the App. Any commercial relationship, where applicable, is established directly between the building and Urutau Labs outside of the App.

3. Account & Access

Use of the App requires creating an account with an email address and password, or authenticating via a third-party provider. The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and for all actions performed under their account.

Accounts are created and managed by building administrators. Doormen receive access by invitation from the administrator.

4. Device permissions

The App requests the following device permissions:

Camera (required): used solely to photograph package labels and capture delivery images. Without this permission, the main photo-based registration flow will be unavailable.
Local storage (temporary): images are saved temporarily on the device before being uploaded to the server.

No permissions are requested for advertising, location tracking, or contact access.

5. Permitted Use

The App is intended solely for the legitimate management of packages at buildings and front desks. The following are prohibited:

Using the App for unlawful purposes or in violation of third-party rights;
Attempting to access systems or data beyond your authorized profile;
Reproducing, reselling, or sublicensing the App without express authorization;
Entering false data or manipulating package records.

6. Images & Camera Use

The App uses the device camera solely to photograph package labels. Images are processed for text extraction (OCR) and linked to the corresponding package record. See our Privacy Policy for details on image storage and retention.

7. Responsibilities

The user is responsible for the accuracy of data entered and for actions taken in the App. Urutau Labs is not liable for losses, missing packages, or disputes arising from improper use of the App or incorrect information provided by the user.

Urutau Labs strives to keep the App available and functional, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may perform maintenance that results in temporary downtime.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights to the App, its interface, source code, brand, logo, and content are the exclusive property of Urutau Labs. Use of the App does not grant the user any ownership rights over these elements.

9. Account deletion

Users may request deletion of their account and all associated data at any time at:

Deletion is processed within 30 days. See the deletion page for details on which data is removed and which is retained for legal compliance.

10. Termination

Urutau Labs may suspend or terminate a user's access to the App at any time in case of violation of these Terms or discontinuation of the service, with prior notice when possible.

11. Modifications

These Terms may be updated periodically. We will publish the new version in the App and/or on the website. Continued use after changes implies acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Sorocaba, SP, waiving any other jurisdiction, however privileged it may be.
