Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the Figo app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by UrutauLabs Soluções Digitais LTDA (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
1. Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as:
- Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
- The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
- The operating system you use on your mobile device
For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Email address, Nickname (Username), Phone number, Profile picture, Precise Location (GPS), and Chat messages. The information requested will be retained and used as described in this privacy policy.
2. Location Data and Map Features
The Application collects your device's precise location (GPS), which helps the Service Provider determine your geographical location to provide core features:
- Geolocation Services: To show nearby collectors on the "Trade Radar", locate Points of Sale, and display local Trade Events.
- User Control: You can enable or disable location tracking at any time through your device's operating system settings. If disabled, some features of the Application will not function.
3. Sponsorships and Partners
The Service Provider may partner with local businesses (e.g., newsstands) to display them on the map. Your personal identifying data is never sold to these partners; however, anonymized and aggregated location data may be used to optimize the placement of sponsored pins.
4. AI and Automated Processing
The Application may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies (such as Optical Character Recognition - OCR to scan stickers via camera) to enhance user experience. Images captured via the camera for scanning purposes are processed on the device or securely and temporarily to extract sticker codes, and are not stored permanently by the Service Provider.
5. Third Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application. The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy:
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena; when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect your safety or the safety of others; or with trusted service providers who work on their behalf.
6. Opt-Out and Account Deletion Rights
You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application. Furthermore, you hold the right to request the complete deletion of your account and all associated personal data (including chat messages, location history, and album progress). To request data deletion, you can use the in-app account management tools or contact the Service Provider directly at contact@urutaulabs.com.
7. Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like them to delete User Provided Data, please contact them at contact@urutaulabs.com.
8. Children
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be immediately deleted.
9. Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect it.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes.
